The struggling writer is a tale as old as time. Whenever I talk to my fellow authors, we all agree on the same problems: lack of motivation, discipline, marketing, rejection etc. No matter where you are in the process or if you're traditionally published or indie, you're not alone in the struggle. The key is to keep learning. Take a workshop, go to a conference, create a marketing budget. When you challenge yourself to keep learning, you can only get better.

I've been looking forward to the day I could decorate my own house for years. Why not do it with as many stacks of hardcover books possible?

I'm starting to understand the bond between a person and their pet when they're on their own. Coming from a 5 cat household, I've loved on many pets, but Scout is my buddy. She moved in with me because she's always been mine, and now she's the first thing I find when I come home from work. I just wanted to show you how cute and comfy she is in my new house and warn you that more Scout content is on the horizon. 😸
